Bernard Pryor
Mr Pryor is a Metallurgical Engineer by background with over 35 years’ experience in the international mining industry. He has held senior executive positions across a range of disciplines including project acquisition, evaluation, development and construction and has run large scale fully operational mining assets. His experience also includes international commercial and general management, most notably in Australia, Brazil, West and Southern Africa, the Middle East and Russia. Prior to becoming CEO of Alufer, he was CEO of African Minerals Limited and Q Resources plc. Between 2006 and 2010 he held senior positions within Anglo American Plc as Head of Business Development and was CEO of Anglo Ferrous Brazil Inc.


Jeff Couch
Mr Couch is a financial services executive with extensive experience in the natural resources sector having advised and raised capital for clients globally, with a particular focus in emerging markets. Mr Couch is currently working with Orion Resource Partners, specialising in institutional metals and mining investment strategies. Prior to Orion, Mr Couch was Managing Director, Head of Corporate and Investment Banking, Europe for BMO Capital Markets in London, and also worked for Schroder Solomon Smith Barney (SSSB), CitiGroup and Credit Suisse. He holds a range of directorships in the natural resources sector, a law degree from Osgood Hall Law School and a honours degree from the University of Western Ontario Business School.

Michael Barton
Mr. Barton is a Portfolio Manager at Orion, a mining-focused investment business with approximately US$4.7 billion under management (as at June 30, 2018), which provides flexible capital investment solutions to mining companies in the base and precious metals sector. Orion has demonstrated capability in debt, equity, and production-linked investments, such as streams, offtakes and royalties and is recognised as one of the leaders in mining finance. Prior to Orion, Mr. Barton was Chief Executive Officer of Pala Investments, a mining‐focused investment company based in Zug, Switzerland, and prior to that, was Vice President at Hatch Corporate Finance (now HCF International Advisers), a mining and metals‐focused corporate finance boutique. Mr. Barton holds a First Class Honours degree in Geography from the University of Leicester and is a qualified chartered accountant (ICAEW).

Dr Michael Price
Senior Adviser to RCF with Phd and BSc qualifications in mining engineering and more than forty years’ experience in mining and mining finance. Dr Price previously worked with BP Coal, BP Minerals and BP Exploration, before moving into banking with NM Rothschild, Societe Generale and Barclays Capital. He has gained extensive Board experience over the past 15 years serving as Non Executive Director of several listed and private mining companies.

Jason Peirce
Mr Peirce has over 17 years’ experience working in sustainability within the mining and development sectors in West, Central and North Africa. He has a wide range of expertise in social and environmental risk and impact assessment, community relations, stakeholder engagement, resettlement, local development and community investment strategies. Previously he worked with INSUCO, Anglo Gold Ashanti and the Belgian Development Agency. He holds a PhD in Anthropology and Sociology from SOAS.

Lamine Toure
Mr Toure has broad experience in government liaison and representation for a number of companies in Guinea. He has worked across a variety of sectors – mining, textiles and urban project development and previously worked with companies including Mobil, Global Alumina, Koumba Iron Ore.
